I've always loved the look of damascus steel, & I love that he made this piece to have the look & pattern of damascus, but did it in sterling silver, which is my favorite for jewelry. The bronze accents are the perfect touch, & I love the detail of the bronze bezel that the garnet is set into, really contrasts with the red beautifully. The pendant part measures about 1.5 inches long from the bale to the tip, & just under 3/4 inch wide at the center. So it's a nice size. The chain is really unique, I like the rectangular shaped links, & the little snake hook closure is such an interesting detail. I like that it has that added larger link that gives you the option of wearing it slightly shorter if you choose, but what I like to do is wrap the chain around my neck twice, that way it's a very short, almost choker style necklace, & it has the little snake in the front (this would depend on the size of your neck if you can do this).
