I'd had my eye on this piece for a while, & am so glad I decided to go for it. The detail is incredible, even the roof of the mouth and the area where the roots of the teeth would be are carved out. Garnets are one of my favorite stones, & the bezel set garnet looks so beautiful with the bronze and silver. One thing to keep in mind is that if you usually don't wear longer necklaces, it is very easy to adjust the chain without altering the piece-because of the beads, you can get a necklace adjuster or lobster claw clasp & place it between the beads to temporarily shorten it.
